- 2 Tablespoons Sweet Onion & Bacon Dip Mix, dry mix
- 1 pound whole mushrooms
- 8 oz cream cheese, softened
- 2 Tablespoons mayonnaise
- 1/4 cup Parmesan cheese, grated and additional for garnish
- 1/4 cup bread crumbs
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon black pepper, ground
Directions:
Preheat oven 400 degrees. Wash, clean mushrooms. Remove stems from mushrooms caps and chop up stems. Mix together softened cream cheese, mayonnaise, grated Parmesan cheese, bread crumbs, Sweet Onion & Bacon Dip Mix (dry), chopped stem pieces and salt/pepper. Fill mushrooms caps with filling mixture and sprinkle/garnish with additional grated Parmesan cheese. Bake on baking sheet for approximately 20 minutes until mushrooms are golden brown.
Sweet Onion Bacon Meat Loaf
Ingredients:
- Sweet Onion & Bacon Dip Mix
- 1 1/2 lbs. ground beef*
- 1/2 cup oatmeal**
- 1/4 cup Ketchup
- 1 Tbls prepared yellow mustard
- 1 Tbls Worcestershire Sauce
- 1 egg, beaten
- 1/2 cup chopped onion, optional
Sweet Glaze:
- 1/4 cup Ketchup
- 1 Tbls prepared yellow mustard
- 1 Tbls sugar (white or brown)
Directions:
Preheat oven to 350 degrees. In a large bowl add Sweet Onion & Bacon Dip Mix, ground beef, oatmeal, Ketchup, mustard, Worcestershire Sauce, egg and onion, if desired. Mix well and place mixture in a baking dish. Shape into loaf, pat together. Bake for 45 minutes covered with foil. Mix together Sweet Glaze ingredients. After baking for 45 minutes foil covered, remove foil cover meatloaf with glaze and continue baking uncovered for additional 15 minutes. Remove from oven cover with foil and let sit for 15 minutes before slicing and serving.
*can substitute other ground meats; turkey, venison, chicken
