Ingredients:
- 1 packet Crab Dip Mix
- 8 oz. cream cheese, softened
- 1/2 cup sour cream
- 1/4 cup mayonnaise
- 1/4 cup celery, finely chopped
- 1 can ( 6 oz.) baby shrimp, drained & rinsed
- 1/8 cup finely chopped red or green onion
Directions:
Mix together softened cream cheese, sour cream and mayonnaise. Add Crab Dip Mix and stir well to blend. Add celery, onions and shrimp and stir. Refrigerated a minimum of 4 hours before serving. Serve with a neutral cracker, bread crisp or fresh vegetables.
Baked Crab Dip
Ingredients:
- 1 packet Crab Dip Mix
- 1/2 cup mayonnaise (do not use salad dressing like Miracle Whip)
- 1/2 cup sour cream
- 1- (8 oz.) package cream cheese, softened*
- 1/3 cup celery, thinly sliced
- 1- (8 oz.) can sliced water chestnuts, drained and chopped
- 1/4 cup green onions, thinly sliced (include some green tops)
- 8 oz. mock crab, sliced into chunks
- 1/2 cup shredded Colby Jack cheese**
Directions:
Preheat oven to 350 degrees, grease a small baking dish (5 cup minimum capacity). Mix together mayonnaise, sour cream, softened cream cheese and packet of Crab Dip Mix until well blended. Fold in celery, water chestnuts, green onions, crab and shredded cheese. Mix together and place in prepared baking dish. Bake for 30 minutes or until bubbly around edges and golden brown on top. Serve with baguette slices or a neutral cracker (Butter Crisp, Triscuit, etc.)
*soften cream cheese in microwave until smooth
**May substitute shredded Monterey Jack or milk cheddar cheese.
Crab Dip Sandwich Roll
Ingredients:
- 6 Tbls. Crab Dip Mix, prepared
- 1 lb. imitation crab, flaked or cut up
- 1 lemon, juiced
- Green leaf lettuce
- Hoagie rolls
Combine prepared Crab Dip Mix, imitation crab, and lemon juice in a bowl. Take the prepared mixture and spread on a hoagie roll and top with lettuce.
